About the module
This module focuses on how you as an artist can promote your artwork through the creation of a website.
Through this module you will learn:
- Why having Your Own Art Website is essential for promoting your work.
- How you can set up your own website and tools that may help you along the process.
- About Virtual Exhibitions and Virtual Art Galleries.
The aim of this module is to help you familiarize yourself with the possibilities of the digital realm to showcase your work and make a significant impact on your outreach and/or sales. More specifically, to help you learn about how you can create a website to promote your own art and professional portfolio.
The different sections will allow you to read more about the subject, engage in a case study, an exercise and to test yourself by recognizing your level on the topic. The module will also provide you with some resources to learn more and put into practice the theoretical knowledge presented here.
